Agathe Labadie is a French soprano with an agile voice and a sparkling personality, who is passionate about contemporary music. This season, Agathe has interpreted Pamina in Mozart’s Zauberflöte at the Musica Le Mans Festival. She also performed at Splendor Amsterdam in the staged recital Imaginations, and sang at the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam.
In 2025, Agathe was Alicia in Motorized Delusion at the Dutch National Opera. Other roles she performed include Amore in Gluck’s Orefo ed Euridice, Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Cupidon in Offenbach’s Orphée aux Enfers and Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Agathe has taken part in masterclasses with renowned artists, among whom Patricia Petibon, Margreet Honig, Ira Siff, Amaya Dominguez and Chantal Santon-Jeffery.
Agathe started singing as a child at the Dijon Cathedral Choir. She graduated from the Paris Regional Conservatoire with honours in 2021, and obtained her Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2024. Currently in the final year of her Master’s there, she studies with Sasja Hunnego.
Keen on understanding the current issues of the musical industry, she holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Policy from Sciences Po Paris. Agathe enjoys teaching voice, learning languages, wine tastings and spending time in nature.
