About

After a multifaceted musical education including choir, piano and cello, Agathe Labadie chose to continue her journey with classical voice. The French soprano graduated from the Paris Regional Conservatory with honours in 2021, before she started her Bachelor’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam where she studies in her final year with Sasja Hunnego.

A versatile singer, Agathe enjoys singing opera, art song and oratorio. Over the past few years, she has developed a particular interest for contemporary music and performed at the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven in the 2022 Per Nørgård retrospective.

Agathe’s curiosity and love for languages led her to take part in international masterclasses with renowned teachers, among whom Margreet Honig, Ira Siff, Regina Werner, Sara Mingardo, Chantal Santon-Jefferey and Yvonne Kenny.

Keen on understanding the current issues of the musical industry, Agathe graduated from a Master’s degree in Cultural Policy in 2018. Alongside her studies, Agathe teaches amateur singers, advocates for healthy musicianship, enjoys wine tastings and spending time in nature.
